An old painter lived in a small village, and he used to draw very beautiful paintings and sell them at a good price..
One day, a poor man from the village came to him and said to him:
You make a lot of money from your business, why don't you help the poor in the village?!
Look at the village butcher who does not have much money and yet every day distributes free pieces of meat to the poor..
The old painter replied:
I don't have the money to help anyone...
The poor man came out annoyed by the painter and spread rumors in the village that the painter was rich but miserly, so the villagers reprimanded him.
After a while the old painter fell ill, and none of the villagers paid him any attention, and he died alone.
Days passed and the villagers noticed that the butcher was no longer sending free meat to the poor.
And when they asked him why, he said that the old painter used to give him every month a sum of money to send meat to the poor, and now that he was dead, that stopped.
◇ Don't judge someone from what you see from him, he may have other things in his life if you knew them to change your judgment on him.
