What is the fate of resistance: idea and thought?
    September 30, 2024
    Dr. Abdul Latif Omran
Hassan Nasrallah, His Eminence, has passed away to be with the friends, martyrs, and righteous people, and the best of those companions, so he has become a national, Arab, and international symbol of resistance against occupation, settlement, and barbarism, whether anyone likes it or not.. Is the Zionist project in the region a developmental project: humane, social, or moral?! The answer is with those who are embarrassed by the resistance, even as a culture and approach.
Who can deny that there are occupied Arab lands, and Islamic and Christian sanctities that the Zionists tamper with and desecrate generation after generation?
Who can deny that there is occupation and usurpation of other than the geography of the land, of will, decision, and wealth by promise and threat...etc., which does not escape the minds of the sons of life, the descendants of the Arab-Islamic civilization from the ocean to the Gulf... and beyond that extent?
Who can deny that the Zionist-American alliance, with its apparent and hidden powers and tools, is able, after the absence of the era of international balance and bipolarity, to threaten and implement unilateral blockades and sanctions whenever and against whomever it wishes, and that these sanctions and blockade, despite the fact that they target livelihood, the medicine pill, and all the services necessary for life - the infrastructure - are more dangerous than that, as they target awareness, identity, and belonging, so the state and society necessarily turn into economic, partisan, political, social, and military militias, each of which is forced to seek individual salvation, and as a result, the moral and spiritual superstructures in societies are shattered. If the infrastructure recovers one day, governments find dilapidated superstructures whose wounds are difficult to repair, so those wounds tend to become historical and sustainable, and this malice is not absent from the centers of Orientalism in the West affiliated with the deep state. Who among the Arabs and Muslims, and all the peoples of the world, does not know that the Zionist project is always opposed to the Arab national project, to Arab national security, and to the historical Muhammadan Islam, and that this project has developed from settlement, to occupation, to genocide as in Lebanon and Palestine today, to containment, to (total change) in geography, history, customs, diplomacy, spirit, habits, culture, etc. On top of this, who should remember, and not let it slip from their memory, especially among the Arabs and especially among the young diplomats, UN Resolution 242 of 1967, and after it Resolution No. 3271 of 1975, which defined Zionism as (a form of racism and racial discrimination - and called on - all countries of the world to (resist) the Zionist ideology that poses a threat to international security and peace), and before it UN Resolution No. 1351 of 1973, by which the UN General Assembly condemned the sinful alliance between racism and Zionism... Then came the Camp David, Oslo and Wadi Araba agreements to overthrow all aspects of the high-level international activity struggling to issue these resolutions, and many like them, and if it were not for the bloodshed today in Palestine and Lebanon, we would be suffering under the weight of the Deal of the Century, spiritual diplomacy, and the Abraham Accords?!. The same applies to UN Resolution No. 2013 of 1978, which justifies and supports armed resistance against the occupation, considering (the struggle of peoples to determine their destiny is a legitimate struggle that is consistent with the principles of international law: general and humanitarian - the occupation authorities have no sovereign right over the occupied territories).

Should the martyr and leader Hassan Nasrallah alone have realized this?! He truly realized it, educated him and struggled with him, and may God have mercy on him and forgive him for what he was and will not be alone.

(The resistance does not weaken with the martyrdom of its leader, but rather remains firmly rooted in the core of hearts and minds, because great leaders build in their lives the doctrine of struggle, its approach and its path, and they depart having left behind them an intellectual system and a practical approach to resistance and honor). With warmth and pride, President Assad said this in his message to (the Lebanese National Resistance - the family of the martyr Hassan Nasrallah), and with gratitude and history, His Excellency wrote the truth with the truth, especially in the conclusion.
We in Syria, and in the Arab nationalist movement that is entrenched in the conscience from the ocean to the Gulf, and among the free and honorable people of the world, and in the Baath Party, we realize all of this, and we have not and will not forget it, in a world in which the martyr, the symbol Hassan Nasrallah, was not and will not be the sacrifice of resistance, honor, truth, and rights alone.
